Common Questions
Can MAFS handle sorting graduates by faculty and programme?+
Yes. MAFS supports custom registration fields including faculty, programme, and student ID. Graduates can be grouped, filtered, and checked in by their specific faculty or programme.
How are parent tickets managed?+
Parent tickets are issued through the MAFS ticketing module. Each graduate can be allocated a set number of parent tickets which are tied to QR codes and checked in at the gate.
Can NFC badges replace the printed gown collection slips?+
Yes. NFC event badges can store graduate information and be used to verify identity at gown collection, seating, and during the graduation ceremony itself.
When should we contact Asterixify ahead of convocation?+
We recommend reaching out at least 6 weeks before your convocation date. This allows time for system setup, staff training, a rehearsal check-in session, and badge printing.
